AVIATION PROJECT OFFICER
The Aviation Project Officer is a full-time position for the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority which is responsible for planning, coordinating, and inspecting construction projects at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. Reporting to the Director of Planning and Development, an employee in this class is responsible for inspecting and coordinating a variety of design and construction projects in order to maintain or improve the Authority’s facilities and structures.

AIRPORT FIREFIGHTER 1
This position is an entry to journey level Airport Firefighter and exists to provide Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services to the Grand Canyon National Park Airport as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position provides first responder and firefighting services on any and all emergencies to outlying areas around and near the airport and assists the National Forestry in forest fire emergencies. Emergency situations include: aircraft accidents/incidents; aircraft passenger medical emergencies; motor vehicle accidents; hazardous material (HAZMAT) incidents/spills; mass casualty incidents; search/rescue/extrication missions; wildland fires; and other related suppression needs. This position also provides assistance in airport operations, airport security, airfield maintenance, facilities/housing maintenance, snow removal, weed control and wildlife management, and other airport operational duties as assigned.

OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Spokane Airports seeks a dynamic individual for an Airport Operations Specialist. This position is responsible for the daily operations of the airfield. A combination of education and experience will be considered in meeting the requirements of this position. Preference will be shown for a 4 year college degree in aviation or related field with a working knowledge of airport management under Federal Aviation Regulations, Parts 139 and 77, plus related FAA advisory circulars. Successful applicant must possess excellent communication, computer and customer relations skills. Position requires working as a team with other departments, airport tenants and the FAA. This position is considered a career progression position to Airport Duty Manager upon meeting certain performance and qualification requirements. AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Airport Operations Specialist is a dynamic and challenging position. Under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Aviation, they have general oversight of the Airport. An individual assigned to this position has rotating shift responsibility and learns to monitor and control airport use and to respond to real or potential emergency situations. Work follows closely prescribed Federal, State and local laws and regulations, though considerable initiative may be required in unusual situations. Assistance for difficult or unusual situations will be provided by senior airport operations employees. Work is reviewed through training exercises, conferences and analysis of reports. Does related work as required. General knowledge of FAR Part 139 Airports, ARFF Index B Airports, and snow removal procedures suggested.
