AVIATION SUPERVISOR III - AIRSIDE
The City of Phoenix Aviation Department is currently seeking and Aviation Supervisor III for their Airside division. Duties for the Aviation Supervisor III include a variety of managerial and technical tasks, including administrative duties such as technical report writing, monitoring large operating budgets, manage performance metrics including Key Performance Indicators, developing and implementing formal procedures, collaborating with outside agencies, facilities and services duties such as construction and project management, responding to customer concerns, emergency preparedness and regulatory Airfield 14 CFR Part 139 compliance. This position develops business cases for capital improvement projects, job order contracts and other aviation functions as required. Currently there is a vacancy in the Airfield Maintenance Section at Sky Harbor International Airport. The position performs managerial supervision of employees responsible for crack sealing asphalt, spall repair, airfield markings/graphics installation and general maintenance work on airfields at Sky Harbor, Deer Valley, and Goodyear airports.

INTRO AIRPORT RESCUE FIRE FIGHTER
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform ARFF functions in aircraft crash, fire and rescue emergencies. Must be able to maintain ARFF and related certifications throughout employment. BASIC FUNCTION: Day to day airport activities including aircraft rescue firefighting (ARFF), operational safety and security, customer service, grounds clean-up, report writing, general care taking services, and minor maintenance on Port facilities and equipment.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Respond to all incidents/accidents as a crash rescue firefighter. Must be able to maintain ARFF and related certifications throughout employment. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and overall security of the Air Operations Area (AOA) and Airside and Landside Terminals at IFP. Perform daily inspections of all runways, taxiways, ramps, and associated safety areas and perimeter fences, landside, terminals, parking lots and airport property. Perform wildlife management functions on all airport properties. Conduct airside and landside inspections to ensure compliance with FAR Part 139 regulations; Airport Certification Manual; 14 CFR Part 77; 49 CFR 1542; ASP and other federal regulations. Accurately report unsafe conditions (including the issuance of NOTAMs and Work Orders) and policy/procedure violations. Identify operational, safety and security concerns. Respond to weather events and airport emergencies such as an accident, bomb threats or hazardous spills.

AIRPORT FIREFIGHTER/OPS COORDINATOR
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This is an entry level position; the Airport Firefighter/Operations Coordinator position is responsible to perform all operational and safety functions at the airport during an assigned shift, operating within established guidelines and procedures. Performs duties in the fire services area of assignment and airport operations. Duties to include, but not limited to, enforcing federal, state, local rules and regulations applicable to airport operations; responds to emergencies; responding and ensuring the coordination of IROPS; monitors aircraft operations. Performs FAR 139 airfield inspections, terminal and landside inspections as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); ensures Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), responds to tenants/public inquiries and complaints; prepares related reports; works under the general direction of the ARFF Chief.
