AIRPORT DIRECTOR
The City of Renton Public Works Department is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as the Airport Director for the Renton Airport. The Renton Airport is located at the southern end of Lake Washington in the Seattle area, and one of the few facilities that has both a paved runway as well as a seaplane ramp. In addition to having general aviation uses, the facility also has designated manufacturing space at the airport due to the immediate adjacency of Boeing Company's 737 Manufacturing Plant which utilize the airport as the departure point for every new Boeing 737 aircraft produced. Under general direction of the Public Works Administrator, the selected individual will be responsible to manage, direct, and coordinate the activities, operations, and maintenance at the Renton Airport.

Responsibilities include design and production of architectural construction documents, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for any size project; coordinating multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant team members; mentoring less experienced architectural staff; and working closely with clients and contractor/developer design/build partners.
