SENIOR CIVIL SITE ENGINEER
DY Consultants is seeking a Civil Engineer with an expertise in the preparation of grading plans and cross sections for runways, taxiways and aircraft parking aprons. The successful candidate must show an in-depth understanding of the concepts related to grading and must provide examples of previously completed projects, actually completed by themselves. The individual must possess the ability to work within the AutoCADD Civil 3D environment. Previous experience with highway designs and parking lots would be considered. The ideal candidate for this position should possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively with their respective project team members. Key responsibilities will include carrying out basis of design reports, detailed designs (plans and specifications), and preparing reports for airside and landside development projects. In addition to grading of the pavement and the sites, the design projects may also include the following disciplines; pavements, geometry, drainage, utilities and other associated construction items.

PROJECT MANAGER (PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT)
Develop, monitor, analyze, report and revise the project schedules by obtaining input from knowledge and/or technical sources. Manage and initiate review and/or design of engineering/architectural projects. Manage the selection process and administer consultant services, including negotiating contract terms and fees by negotiating the contract, approving the consultant’s product, approving payment to consultant, initiating poor performance remedies. Manage, monitor and review contracts and contractors to ensure compliance with contracts. Develop, maintain, and improve design and construction policies and procedures. Provide technical advice and to city management, field personnel, contractors, etc. Meet with project engineers/architects and contractors to discuss designs and design changes and provide resolutions.

BATTALION CHIEF, ARFF JFK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Reporting to the Commanding Deputy Fire Chief, Aircraft Rescue & Fire Firefighting, the candidate selected will exercise day-to-day oversight of distinct, geographically organized ARFF unit functions. Ability to act in a DUTY capacity in order to respond to emergency calls. Supervising day-to-day ARFF functions, developing staff to a high degree of competence, and overseeing the assignment of subordinates. This individual will be expected to serve under Unified Command during emergencies; meet Part 139 ARFF requirements in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Certification Standards and other federal, state and local laws; assist in operating the units in an effective and cost-efficient manner; develop strong interagency and private-sector partnerships for the purpose of achieving a maximally efficient aircraft firefighting structure; and command, motivate, inspire, and maintain proper order and discipline among subordinates.
