DIRECTOR OF PURCHASING AND PROCUREMENT
Under the administrative direction of the Deputy Executive Director of Administration and Finance (CFO), has overall responsibility for the Authority’s centralized purchasing system and ensures the acquisition of all materials, supplies and services required for the safe and continuous operation of the airports. Leads complex purchases which may require formally advertised solicitations, market research, specification development, locating suppliers, solicitation, negotiation, price analysis, value analysis, award determination or recommendation. Responsible for the Authority warehouse and inventory functions. Supervises departmental exempt and non-exempt staff.

PROJECT ENGINEER (AIRPORT - CIVIL ENGINEERING)
Dibble Engineering is looking for a civil engineering Project Engineer to work in our Airport Development Practice in either our PHOENIX, AZ or DENVER, CO location. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering and leading design tasks for a variety of airside and landside airport improvements projects. Candidate will prepare construction plans, technical specifications, technical studies and reports, prepare quantity take-offs and/or calculations, direct CAD designers and less experienced staff in the preparation and production of construction plans, provide quality reviews of own work and work by designers in accordance with Company’s quality control program and processes, assist in construction administration and inspection of projects, including the preparation of inspection reports, material quantity verification, and reviewing and responding to contractor material submittals, RFI’s, and change order requests. AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Airport Operations Specialist begins as a Trainee while completing required tasks. They have general oversight of the Airport under the direct supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Aviation. An individual assigned to this position has rotating shift responsibility and learns to monitor and control airport use and to respond to real or potential emergency situations. Work follows closely prescribed Federal, State and local laws and regulations, though considerable initiative may be required in unusual situations. Assistance for difficult or unusual situations will be provided by higher-level airport operations employees. The work is reviewed through training exercises, conferences and analysis of reports. Does related work as required. Knowledge of FAR Part 139 Airports, ARFF Index B Airports, and snow removal procedures suggested. A challenging and rewarding position.
