AIRPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Responsible for coordinating activities in AOA. --Inspects airfield, safety zones, clear zones, approach zones, terminal, perimeter; grounds for compliance with FAA/TSA Regulations, Airport Rules & Regulations, Airport Minimum Standards, leases and agreements. --Responsible for airfield safety to include: identifying, preventing and/or removing all hazards to aviation including FOD, wildlife, AOA incursions, unauthorized vehicle and pedestrian entry and disabled aircraft. --Liaison with ATC, ARFF and all responding agencies during airport emergencies. --Conducts daily and periodic safety and quality control inspections of aviation fuel storage facility. --Monitors and operates security camera and gate systems. --Knowledgeable of FAR's Part 139 and 77, as well as TSR 1542. --Conducts Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) training and issues NOTAMs when appropriate. --Recommends policy changes to correct reoccurring problems. --Performs related work as required.
