OPERATIONS AND AIRPORT FACILITIES SPECIALIST
Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Maintenance and the Director of Public Safety and Facilities, the Operations and Airport Facilities Specialist performs liaison work with the FAA, ERAA and Airport Tenants. Inspects Airport Facilities for FAR 139 compliance (Airport Safety Self Inspection). Coordinates snow removal activities, airfield openings and closures. Responds to aircraft emergencies. Performs daily airfield condition inspections and issues Notice to Airmen (NOTAMS) reports. Investigates safety and maintenance complaints regarding the airport operating area (AOA) and enforces ERAA Rules and Regulations as well those issued by state, federal or local authorities. ENTRY LEVEL AIRPROT POSITION (AIRPORT OPERATIONS - ARFF)
The Port of Bellingham is excited to announce an opening for a motivated entry level professional to join the Bellingham International Airport team as an Intro Airport Rescue Firefighter. While Firefighter is the title of the position, the duties that are required to be performed include a broad range of tasks within Airport Operations that will ensure to keep you engaged and challenged. This unique and exciting position allows staff to remain outside of the work silos that exist at many other commercial service airports and exposes employees to the broad range of operational duties to maintain a safe and secure Part 139 airport. The right candidate will be trained and required to perform ARFF duties, Part 139 airfield inspections, wildlife mitigation, stormwater management, security patrols and response, customer service, incident report writing, snow removal and grass mowing, and other duties as needed to keep the airport operational.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST LEVEL II
The Bloomington Normal Airport Authority is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Airport Operations Specialist II. Airport Operations Specialist II is a fully experienced Airport Specialist/Operations position within a Part 139 airport. Airport Operations Specialists are designed to prepare for future airport managers due to ample experiences and responsibilities with managing and operating a Commercial Service Airport. Responsibilities and training experiences include: Airside, Terminal and Landside operations; daily inspections; coordination of and response to emergency situations; NOTAM management; wildlife management; snow removal operations; serves as a liaison between airport management, tenants and the public; prepares appropriate security badges, serve as the Assistant Airport Security Coordinator; implements/updates the Airport Certification Manual and Airport Security Program.
