AIRPORTS OPERATIONS OFFICER II
Filing Deadline: October 14, 2019 The City of Fresno Airports Department is currently recruiting for an Airports Operations Officer II ($4,788-5,821, experience required) Since the Great Recession, the Airport has experienced record growth in passenger traffic of over 55% and is projected to surpass 1 Million enplanements for FY 2020. Over $250 million of capital improvement projects have been identified for the next 10 years, including a $115 million terminal expansion and parking garage to be operation in the fall of 2022. Under general supervision, the incumbent will perform administrative duties contributing to the efficiency of Airport operations; monitors and inspects the airfield, airport facilities, and personnel to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and airport policies and procedures. In addition, the Airports Operations Officer is responsible for coordinating airport operations to ensure safety and security of the public, tenants and airport staff.

AVIATION BAGGAGE SYSTEMS SUPERVISOR

DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF AVIATION - ABQ
The Albuquerque Aviation Department is seeking a Deputy Director of Aviation who will be responsible for aiding the Director of Aviation in oversight and management of all airport activity at the Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) a Part 139, operating certificate medium-hub commercial service airport and Double Eagle II general aviation reliever airport (AEG). The Sunport is owned and operated by the City of Albuquerque and is a joint use facility with Kirtland Airforce Base. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Operations Management, Aviation Administration. Engineering or related field, plus nine (9) years of executive air carrier airport or aviation operations experience or related experience to include six (6) years of direct supervisory experience.Filing Deadline: November 3, 2019

Under general direction from the Communication and Marketing Director, incumbent is responsible for administrative and professional work in the development and implementation of market strategies to support the retention and expansion of international and domestic air service at Salt Lake City International Airport. 1.Develops and implements a Strategic Air Service Marketing Plan for SLC, including an international strategy for enhancing air service. 2.Plans and conducts activities designed to maintain and increase the level of international and domestic passenger flights to SLC. 3.Maintains a strong presence in the aviation air service development community. Develops strong relationships with current and potential customers; builds and maintains a rapport with airlines and stakeholders. 4.Recruits and plans meetings for an Air Service Development Committee. Builds collaborative marketing strategies among local economic development and tourism partners. 5.Tracks data and conducts research to determine opportunities to drive airline passenger growth.
