Airport Operations Supervisor
San Francisco International Airport (SFO), an extraordinary industry leader, provides exceptional service to our communities. As safety and security is SFO’s first priority, we are looking for a dynamic leader to be an Airport Operations Supervisor in our Airfield section. This individual supervises staff involved with ensuring the safe, secure and efficient operation of the Air Operations Area and other airport facilities. This position will be instrumental in ensuring airfield operations plans are in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Transportation Security Regulations (TSR), Airport Certification Manual (ACM) and Airport Security Program (ASP). This position ensures that airport rules and regulations are enforced; develops and conducts Airport safety and security training; responds to airport emergencies involving airside activities; analyzes and resolves work/personnel problems and situations, and institutes quick, effective and responsible courses of action, and performs other related duties as required. AIRPORT PROJECT AND PLANNING SUPERVISOR
Under the direct supervision of the Airport Project Manager provide a range of technical and policy planning support for airport capital projects and operational plans. Responsibilities include administration of activities associated with construction projects undertaken by the Airport Authority including federal and state funded projects; provides coordination of airport maintenance and operations activities in association with on-going projects at the Airport. Performs related duties as assigned. Ensure appropriate documentation of airport plans, consistent with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory and guidance requirements; provide overall coordination of capital projects, grant applications, tenant/stakeholder construction liaison.
