PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER I/II (CONTENT WRITER)
Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport is recruiting for a Content Writer (Public Information Representative I/II) with Search Engine Optimization experience to own multi-format (blog, video, images, infographics etc.) content creation and optimization for the Airport’s digital and non-digital channels. This position will create, scale and optimize content to inspire travelers to choose Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport as their preferred airport for traveling to and from Silicon Valley. This person will be responsible for day to day execution of the Airport's content creation programs, including close collaboration with Airport partners’ (airlines, concession operators, rental car companies etc.).

AIRPORT SAFETY OFFICER II
Contra Costa County Public Works Department is recruiting to fill one Airport Safety Officer II vacancy which may be assigned to either Buchanan Airport in Concord or Byron Airport in East County. Airport Safety Officer II performs a wide range of airfield operations and safety duties, maintenance, and aviation security activities to ensure compliance with Airport, Federal and Transportation Security Regulations. These positions control and enforce airport regulations; provide aircraft crash rescue and fire suppression services in emergency situations; inspect airport properties, aircraft areas, navigation and FAA equipment; perform maintenance and repairs on all airport systems and equipment such as ramps, taxiways, and runways, etc. This position operate fire apparatus, and other automotive equipment, including ARFF vehicles; and act independently, or as a member of an airport safety crew when responding to security issues, general airfield incidents and emergencies such as aircraft accidents and perform other related duties as required.

AIRPORT SAFETY OFFICER I
The Contra Costa Public Works Department has an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in an Airport Safety Officer I position. Currently, the Department has one vacancy which may be assigned to either Buchanan Airport in Concord or Byron Airport in East County. Airport Safety Officer I is the entry-level classification in the Airport Safety Officer Series. Incumbents render necessary assistance and services to airport users, inspect, repair, and maintain airport facilities and equipment, communicate with pilots, air traffic controllers and fixed base operators. Additionally, with training, these positions may respond to aircraft and airport emergencies. Airport Safety Officers are expected to be available to work any shift assignment as needed.

AIRPORT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
The Portland International Jetport is seeking an Airport Maintenance Supervisor. This is a challenging position in the dynamic and fast-paced environment of Portland’s busy and growing small hub commercial airport. This position involves a wide variety of skills ranging from mentoring and development of personnel to the overseeing of day-to-day staff work within trades in the construction, repair, operation and maintenance of airport buildings, grounds and equipment. Requirements: Ability to successfully complete a physical assessment that measures cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, strength, endurance, color recognition and night vision; strong background in heavy equipment and construction; valid Maine Class B driver’s license; successful completion of TSA background investigation per TSR part 1542; must pass federally mandated drug test. Upon successful completion of training, will move to 2nd shift (Sunday-Thursday 3:00 pm-11:30 pm). $945.20/week. 2nd shift position includes a .45 cent per hour shift differential. AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
The Portland International Jetport is seeking an Airport Operations Supervisor to join our growing team. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position plans, organizes, and supervises airside and landside operations on a rotating 24x7 schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and being on-call. Responsibilities include the inspection of airside, terminal, and landside facilities. Other duties include coordinating airport construction, issuing NOTAMs, ensuring FAR Part 139 compliance, coordinating special events, enforcing environmental regulations, mitigating wildlife hazards, responding to emergencies, and other duties as assigned. Reviews and acts on matters involving safety, security, and customer service. Responsible for coordinating security/driver's training.
