AVIATION SUPERINTENDENT - SECURITY
The Aviation Superintendent in the Security Section will be responsible for the federally-mandated Airport Security Program, and various regulatory compliance initiatives including directives to conduct airport badge holder inspections and recurrent fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Checks on airport badge and credential holders. This position will supervise one Aviation Supervisor III, with oversight of a staff of 13 in addition to administrative support for the regulatory compliance program. Duties include administrative duties such as technical report writing, budgets, HR management, developing and implementing formal procedures, inter-agency collaboration, operational duties; and familiarity with all sections of the division (Safety, Security and Emergency Preparedness/Airport Communications & Command Center). Position is also responsible for federal, state, and local regulation compliance such as Chapter 4, Article IV of the Phoenix City Code, 14 CFR Part 139 and 49 CFR Part 1542. MANAGER OF RELIEVER AIRPORTS
Responsible for the daily management, operations, security and maintenance of airports as assigned by the Director of Reliever Airports. Supervise maintenance personnel. Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of the Reliever Airports' policies, rules and regulations. Serve as a point of contact for airport tenants and tenant groups. Represent the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) at various tenant group meetings. Serve as a point of contact for citizens and communities surrounding assigned airports. ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS
Under general direction of the Vice President of Information Technology Services, the AVP, Enterprise Systems oversees and participates in research, delivery and support of business systems, airside systems, parking systems, and oversees their teams. The AVP will ensure that work performed addresses goals and performance objectives, and complies with Airport Board policies and procedures. Further, the AVP will also supervise and participate in the development and implementation of the new and revised Information Technology Strategic Plan. He will also assist in policy and procedures development, and in establishing and attaining goals and objectives of the department. This role involves extensive contact and coordination with Airport Board staff, vendors, contractors, and outside agencies. It assists and represents the Vice President of Information Technology Services as required.
