MANAGER OF ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION
Responsible for managing engineering, planning and construction administration services for construction and development projects at the Memphis International Airport, Charles W. Baker Airport and General DeWitt Spain Airport. Evaluates projects for feasibility and/or constructability, develops estimates, recommends course of action, and determines reasonable schedule. Negotiates contracts and reviews documents for conformance to best engineering and construction practices. Provides day-to-day direction to project engineers, engineering technician, program manager, architectural/engineering consultants under contract. Facilitates Engineering and Construction RFQs and RFPs. Requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering and current licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). Must obtain designation as a P.E. in the State of Tennessee within two (2) years of employment. Five (5) years of experience in engineering and/or construction related to civil airports. Demonstrated supervisory/management experience. Knowledge of project planning and development and contract negotiations. AIRPORT SECURITY SUPERVISOR
Under general direction of the Assistant Airport Manager plan, manage and coordinate the security-related activities, communications, and security program for Republic Airport and provide administrative support to the Airport Management staff. Central point of contact for all access problems/questions of tenants. Perform and supervise security audits of the airfield, and remedy any violations. •Serve as the Airport’s initial contact for security-related activities. Interact with tenants, employees, visitors and law enforcement regarding security procedures. Interact with vendor regarding the airport’s security system maintenance. Utilize available resources to develop and conduct initial and recurrent training on Airport badging, access control and security procedures. Process user access requests. Create and maintain manual for airport access procedures and protocols. Monitor video surveillance review recordings, document non compliance and follow up. Participate in ongoing airport security training. This full time position requires shift work.
