Coordinator I: Performs various duties at Tweed-New Haven Airport as dictated by operational requirements, including responding to airport alerts, snow removal, recording of aircraft movements, performing airport and security inspections. Duties include airside inspections, periodic safety and quality control inspections of aviation fuel storage facility and fueling operations, safety and environmental compliance, emergency response, NOTAM management, wildlife management, and communications duties on an as-needed basis. Communications duties include security system monitoring, responding to Operations and Security related issues and other tasks as assigned by the Airport Operations Supervisor and Airport Management. Coordinator II: Includes Coordinator I duties as well as successful completion of Air Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF), Advanced Airport Safety Operations Specialists School (ASOS), Basic Airport Winter Operations Specialist School.

Represent Airport Management in routine operational matters. Coordinate construction and maintenance activities on or near the facility to ensure airport safety standards and maintain operational status. Maintain airport security standards of FAR Part 1542 and the Airport Security Plan. Assist the Airport Operations Manager in training and development of the operations staff. Responsible for individual assigned duties and special projects. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Airport Terminal Building Complex. Assist in professionally answering the noise complaint phone calls, involving citizen complaints and compiling data.

The Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Airport Manager. Said candidate will provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of operations. Jackson Hole Airport Board is seeking candidates for an Airport Operations Officer. This position is a part of the Operations team and will perform all Airport Operations duties, including safety and security inspections of the airfield, runways and terminal facilities, providing escorts and monitoring in secured areas and responding to calls for service both inside and outside. This position is responsible for assisting with a variety of activities including airfield inspections, credentialing and the expeditious flow of aircraft and passengers. LCPA offers: Airport Operations and Management, Emergency Management and General Aviation Airport/FBO Operations & Management (FMY) Internships generally last 10 to 12 weeks, beginning in May, with a pay of $11.50 per hour. Those selected for LCPA internships must be prepared to meet high-performance standards and write a comprehensive paper about their experience. Students must be in an airport/aviation management program, operations or closely related field and attending an accredited college/university. Intern must be a full-time student at a credit level of sophomore or above and pursuing a career in airport/aviation management, operations, planning or a closely related field. Students must submit a college-graded paper, which was written within the previous six months of the application date. Resume must include student’s goals and objectives.
