EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Texarkana Regional Airport Authority is seeking an Executive Director who will provide leadership, oversight, coordination, and direction of all activities at the Texarkana Regional Airport. A bachelor’s degree with a major in business administration, airport management, public administration, engineering, or a related field is required; a graduate degree in a related discipline is a plus. Candidate must have demonstrated skill in strategy development, planning, business negotiations, community relations and financial administration. The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively is essential. Be able to pass a comprehensive background check, Including fingerprinting, and security clearance check. A minimum of two years’ experience as an airport senior executive at a commercial service airport (Part 139) is preferred. An extensive knowledge of principles and practices of modern airport administration which have been acquired through verifiable work experience is also preferred as well as a proven track record of success in economic development initiatives.
