OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
The Chicago Rockford International Airport has an opening for an Operations Specialist.The position requires the ability to perform airfield operations including but not limited to monitoring and controlling the use of the airport, providing information assistance to both airport users and public with excellent communication skills. An understanding of FAA part 139, 77, 150 and TSA 1542 is critical. The ability to perform in the airfield area and conduct various operational duties is essential. The position requires the ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Overtime required as needed or based on the seasonality. Under limited supervision, the Director of Airport Development collaborates and coordinates planning, design and construction activities at all HCDA airports; provides input to management on design and infrastructure development; Understands FAA regulations, facility planning, capital improvement projects and federal grant management; assists in ensuring that construction and contracted work and services are conducted within budgetary constraints and according to County and Department of Airports policy, codes, and standards of quality, assists the Horry County Property Manager as needed in the acquisition and management of Department of Airports property.
