MANAGER OF AIRPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking a full-time, experienced person in airport economic, land and business development to join the hard working, dynamic Airport Economic Development (AED) team as a Manager of Airport Economic Development. The Manager of AED reports to the Vice-President of AED and serves as a key member of the AED team. This position is responsible for managing complex and sensitive land development, community outreach, public competitive processes, programs and projects. The nature of the work includes land acquisition, disposition, land leases, which include negotiations, condemnation, relocation of occupants and demolition and abandonment, as well as the creation of economic development marketing strategies and implementation of efforts to attract and retain business and industry to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and the Reno-Stead General Aviation Airport. Further, the Manager of Airport Economic Development plans, organizes and directs the work of staff to meet established goals and objectives.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
Mineta San Jose International Airport is recruiting for an Airport Operations Supervisor. The position may be assigned to programs within the Airport Operations Division including Airside, Security and Landside. Programs within these sections include airfield operations, Manager-on-Duty, noise monitoring, emergency planning, general aviation, terminal management, public parking, airport shuttle and ground transportation, parking and traffic control, security compliance, airport identification badging, and airport operations center functions. This position may require the supervision of a large number of staff and requires an individual with a high level of leadership and supervision. The position may interact regularly with Airport customers, contractors, tenants, government agencies, and other City departments. Successful candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Depending on assignment, Airport Operations Supervisor positions work traditional shifts, as well as non-traditional shifts, covering twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, including weekends and holidays.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS CONTROL CENTER SPECIALIST
This is technical work in receiving and transmitting a variety of calls to include normal, irregular, emergency calls, information and messages within the Airport Operations Control Center (AOCC) and in coordination with JAA personnel, airlines, tenants, TSA, FAA, and other agencies/groups at JAX. Work requires knowledge of AOCC standard operating procedures, with the ability to operate various computerized communication telephone equipment. Contacts require answering and responding to various types of calls from individuals and require assertiveness as well as sensitivity to ensure appropriate information is gathered and transmitted according to the situation. The work is covered by standard operating procedures and routines but the employee has the latitude to take action according to the specific situation and must be able to adjust to situations not previously encountered.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the runway and taxiway system under Part 139 requirements, as well as other requirements under TSR 1540, 1542, and 1544. Incumbent staff are required to work shift schedules, and are considered essential personnel for emergency response. Staff may also be called upon to perform additional duties, including duties related to routine facilities maintenance such as snow removal, as needed. This position is subject to call 24 hours a day as necessary to maintain operations at the Wilmington Airport - ILG, a commercial airport in the Philadelphia Region, or other Delaware airport facilities operated by the DRBA. Ability to pass airfield driver certification, Part 139 and SIDA testing within 60 days of hire; Subject to background investigation, STA and CHRC; Ability to be trained in the operation and use of a firearm; Effective communication skills; Closing Date: November 22, 2017
