DEPUTY DIRECTOR, FACILITIES
The City of San José Aviation Department is seeking a Deputy Director, Facilities for the Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport. You will provide executive leadership and oversight for the facilities maintenance activities including building maintenance, facility equipment systems, pavements and property maintenance, as well as contractual custodial services. In addition, you will have overall responsibility for managing airport assets and leading all technical trades services including electrical, painting, HVAC, and airport terminal equipment maintenance activities. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Facilities Management, Aviation Management, or other related fields is required. The successful candidate will possess broad based knowledge of facilities and asset management and at least six (6) years of senior facilities management experience at a medium or large hub airport or in a large campus environment.

DEPUTY AVIATION DIRECTOR - BUSINESS AND PROPERTIES
The City of Phoenix Aviation Department seeks a dynamic professional to oversee the Business and Properties Division. This position exercises considerable independent judgement and works under an Assistant Aviation Director. Incumbents are expected to resolve problems of a professional and technical nature and must effectively confront problems facing airport management while managing competing priorities. Salary up to $136,469 annually. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. The City contributes 8.5% of salary into 457/401(a) plans with no matching required. $3,360/annual car allowance and $1,440/annual cell phone allowance. REQUIREMENTS - Five years of professional-level experience in airport management, airline business management, or commercial real estate and property management; three years must have been in a position supervising professional-level staff. Bachelor's degree in airport management, planning, or related field. Must pass FBI background check.
