DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF AVIATION
The Deputy Director of Aviation at the Kansas City International Airport will provide oversight of the planning, engineering and construction of new facilities. You will create, drive and execute business strategies including initiatives, processes, goals and short and long-term objectives. Lead the airport's project management, land use, engineering and design construction efforts. Organize the execution of the airport capital program and budget; airport master plan; planning and engineering related processes and initiatives for the development and redevelopment of KCI and Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport. Coordinate and direct activities of the engineering staff, contractors and consultants. Manage FAA grants, coordinate requested projects for the safety and security of the airport and close timely. Manage assets and long range planning for airport improvements. AIRPORT PLANNING DIRECTOR
The Maryland Aviation Administration (MDOT MAA) is currently accepting resumes for the position of Airport Planning Director, at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Martin State Airport. The Planning Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Office of Planning providing leadership guidance and vision through the management of professional staff. The Planning Director is responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures for the planning of projects at BWI Marshall and Martin State Airports. The Planning Director must have prerequisite management skills to direct and supervise the work of staff, consultant teams, and contractors. This position is responsible for implementing, administering and supervising the interpretation and application of MDOT MAA’s policies, directives and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations. This position also provides oversight of general administrative functions, including the approval of budgets and the development of policies and guidelines.
