Airport Operations Specialist performs safety inspections for FAA airport certification. Inspections are required to maintain the airport's operating certificate. The position’s objective is to ensure the airfield is operated and maintained according to certification requirements of the FAA. This involves: Inspect airfield to ensure compliance with FAA Parts 139 and 77 and TSAR Part 1542. Conduct inspections of landside, terminal facilities for safety and security. Perform wildlife control, SMS functions · Inspect for wildlife hazards and mitigate; files FAA, Airport paperwork. Works with airfield maintenance and electrical sections to ensure repairs and maintenance are within FAA tolerances. Monitor Airport for compliance with Federal, State and Local Laws. Inspect and monitor terminal, landside and tenant leased areas for compliance with rules and regulations and lease terms. Respond to emergencies and responsible for decisions and coordinating emergency activities. May perform other duties as assigned.

Blue Grass Airport is conducting a search for an Operations Specialist. This is an entry level position, under direct supervision, that manages the use of airport facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position assures safety and security compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Parts 77 and 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542, as well as various other guidance policies. Duties include a constant monitoring of all facilities, personnel, and operations; routine and non-routine inspections of the airfield for unsafe or non-compliant conditions; serves critical functions of the airport Integrated Operations and Coordination Center (IOCC); actively monitors security access control and CCTV systems; issues airport ID media and facilitates ID applicant background searches; coordinates and monitors airport construction activities; provides a high level of customer service in responding to questions and inquiries from the public, airport stakeholders, and/or governmental regulatory agencies.

The Clark County Department of Aviation is seeking an Airport Chief Information Technology Officer to plan, organize and administer a comprehensive information systems program for Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and its sister General Aviation airports. This position oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of all information technology including operations and interface; and provides expert professional assistance to airport management staff in areas of expertise. The City of Portland is seeking an Airport Maintenance Manager for the Portland International Jetport (PWM). This position manages and oversees all aspects of the Airport Maintenance department. The successful candidate will have strong communications skills, initiative and judgment and requires the exercise of judgment and the application of expert knowledge of civil aviation, airports, maintenance operations and personnel management. Bachelor’s degree with major course work in aviation management, business management, or related field or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training. Prior experience at a FAR Part 139 certified airport. Prior experience with 49 CFR 1542 and airport security, and knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations, specifically Part 139 and Part 77.
