TRAINING PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Professional work in the development and management of training and apprentice programs for department staff. Ensures that the department maintains required certifications and licensing and continually improves the knowledge, competence and skills of its employees. Responsible for the annual budget for and performing analyses of costs associated with training programs including but not limited to books, webinars, computerized programs, textbooks, peripherals and outside consultants. Work is performed under general supervision of the Director of Operations and is reviewed through conferences, reports and results achieved. AIRPORTS FACILITIES MANAGER
Performs managerial, technical and administrative work in the maintenance of airport facilities and systems. Assists the Director of Airport Maintenance with all facility maintenance functions. Manages the daily activities of skilled workers performing facility maintenance, repairs/improvements and assists in long-range planning for these activities at public airports in Palm Beach County. Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of airport landside and airside facilities at PBIA and three general aviation airports. Coordinates, directs and inspects the work of carpenters, electricians, painters and other trades personnel; supervises the work of skilled craft workers and service contractors engaged in building maintenance and the maintenance of complex mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
