MANAGER OF ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking a qualified candidate with experience in engineering and construction management to fill a vacancy in the position of Manager of Engineering and Construction. This position shall be responsible for negotiating, administering and managing professional service contracts and all airport construction project contracts in compliance with State and federal laws, regulations, and RTAA policy. This position reports to the Vice-President of Planning, Engineering and Environmental Management and serves as a key member of the team. The Manger of Engineering and Construction manages technical and professional tasks in the areas of engineering and construction; including program planning, budgeting, design, contract procurement, fiscal administration, construction management, coordination with the program manager, quality assurance, and is responsible for the supervision and management of personnel. This position serves as a technical adviser to senior management at the RTAA on matters related to all Airport engineering and construction projects.
