The City of Corpus Christi is seeking an Assistant Director of Aviation to coordinate Air Service Development, which is planning to grow commercial air services at the Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP). The purpose of this position is to grow air service, reduce enplanement leakage, address the need for more demand for new and expanded air services and any other projects that may increase air service at the Corpus Christi International Airport. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Aviation Management, Public or Business Administration, or related field and seven years of progressively responsible experience in aviation management. AIRPORT OPERATIONS AGENT - Midland, Texas - Entry-level airport operations position at the Midland International Air & Space Port. Assists the AOCC Supervisor with specific airport operations involving airside, landside, security and communications activities of a Part 139 small hub airport. Duties include daily airfield and terminal building inspections to comply with local, state and federal regulations; Airport ID Badge issuance and fingerprinting; assurance of Part 1542 compliance with access control system; NOTAM issuance; responding to inquiries from the public, airport tenants, airlines and governmental regulatory agencies. Involves shift work, weekends and holidays. Minimum requirements include a B.S. degree in aviation management, business administration or related field and the ability to obtain a Texas Class C driver's license. AIRPORT COORDINATOR - SECURITY
JOB SUMMARY: Performs administrative professional work coordinating projects and activities between various divisions, departments, public agencies, and private sector representatives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Supports, maintains, and updates the Airport Security Program (ASP), policies, and security related documents to ensure compliance with 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1500 series, Security Directives, and Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Ensures daily compliance with airport security regulations. Performs assessments, investigations, training, audits assigned and initiates corrective actions. Assists with daily monitoring of security systems and programs to ensure continue compliance with CFR requirements and ASP. Reviews and process security badge applicants in accordance with ASP, local and federal regulations and TSA directives. Works with Transportation Security Administration (TSA), federal and local law enforcement agencies, airport tenants and stakeholders to ensure a secure environment. Plans and conducts annual Aviation Security (AVSEC) Contingency Plan Exercise. Prepares reports and presentations on project progress and results.
