AIRPORT SAFETY & SECURITY COORDINATOR
The City of Idaho Falls is accepting applications for a Safety and Security Coordinator. This position assists the Airport Director in the operational and administrative management of the Airport in order to maintain a safe, secure and efficient facility that complies with Federal, State and local regulations and special assignments and projects as directed. Is an active part of the management team. Primarily performs a variety of first-line supervisory, management and administrative duties related to Airport security compliance, Access Control Systems, TSA/Governmental Relations and airfield safety operations. Ensures Airport compliance with TSA regulations 1542 and 1544 within the approved Airport Security Plan (ASP) and acts as the primary TSA security inspector contact as the Assistant Airport Security Coordinator (AASC). AIRPORT INTERN
Bismarck Airport (BIS), Bismarck, ND. Six month professional internship with exposure to airport operations, facilities management, and administration. Internship begins January 2, 2022 and ends May 31, 2022. Qualified candidate will be a recent graduate (or will graduate before the start date) of an airport management degree field or equivalent, possess a strong work ethic and the initiative to carry out assignments without direct supervision. Pilot’s license and membership in AAAE desired. Computer literacy, preferably with Windows and Microsoft software a plus. Some weekend and shift work will be required. Intern is compensated at $17.00/hour. The airport is classified as a primary commercial service non-hub airport that enplanes over 309,599 passengers annually. AIRPORT MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Responsible for: • Management of the daily operations of maintenance, including but not limited to: landside facilities, grounds, infrastructure, compliance with Local, State, and Federal Regulations including 14 CFR Part 139, vehicle fleet maintenance, equipment maintenance, construction management, snow removal operations, airfield lighting system, landside pavement management, airfield pavement management and the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan (WHMP); • Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and maintained by the airport maintenance staff; • Establishing and maintaining the airport maintenance budget; routine, preventative, and long term maintenance programs. • Directing and supervising airport maintenance staff.
