11/23/20 AIRPORT MANAGER - TERMINALS The Aviation Department which operates the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and the North Perry Airport is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Airport Manager in the Aviation Operations Division. This role is responsible for analyzing and solving a variety of issues as well as coordinating and ensuring the safety of commercial, and charter activities in the FLL terminals. The Airport Manager should possess a thorough understanding of terminals management and passenger flow at a large hub commercial service international airport as it relates to FAA, TSA, CBP, tenants, airlines, contractors and the general public. Duties involve managing, planning and coordinating all aspects of airport terminal operations; budget and procurement preparation and oversight; coordination of tenant improvement projects; inspections of county-owned facilities; training, coaching and mentoring staff; oversight of emergency response of assigned staff; and ensure compliance of rules and regulations by stakeholders. 11/23/20 INTERN II This program is intended to provide a student/intern an all-around introduction to professional airport management and operations at a public use general aviation/commercial service airport. At the end of the internship period, the intern is intended to be able to demonstrate adequate knowledge of airport management and operations.
