AVIATION PLANNER
Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Melbourne FL Aviation Group as an Aviation Planner. Ideal location is Melbourne, FL. However, for the right candidate may consider Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale or Orlando, FL. MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE: Atkins is seeking for an Aviation Planner to join our growing Aviation Planning team. Under supervision, this person will apply technical professional proficiency to the solution of planning problems and the coordination of related project activities. JOB DUTIES: Responsible for Airport Master Plan and ALP production tasks for both General Aviation and Part 139 airports throughout the United States. Primary responsibilities would include assisting with the development of airport master plans, on-call aviation planning services, and support for project managers in general planning tasks. Performs work which involves conventional design and plans requiring the use of analysis, interpretation, and deductive reasoning. Carries out diversified projects, or phases of a single project.

CHIEF AUDITOR
Summary/Objective Accountable to the Board of Directors, and the Audit Committee, plans, organizes, directs and oversees the Authority’s audit functions. Essential Functions: Develops and recommends Audit strategies required to achieve organizational vision and goals, including directing the identification of risks requiring audit review and ensuring completion of work papers and audit reports. Aligns and evaluates the work of Audit department and associated staff to ensure that operations and services comply with the policies and strategic direction set by the President/CEO, Board of Directors and all applicable laws and regulations. Provides leadership and coaching necessary to attract, develop and retain a highly competent, diverse, customer oriented staff. Directs the preparation and administration of Audit requirements in accordance with Authority policies. Analyzes relevant legislation and regulations and participates in industry and inter-governmental activities to influence legislative and regulatory change consistent with the Authority’s interests and needs.
