Specialized professional and administrative work in the areas of aviation lease management, properties management, business development, tenant relations, aviation industry research, program development, contract development and compliance monitoring. Responsible for the airport’s lease management programs and maintaining its database. Also charged with policy development, program development, project management, reporting and making recommendations based upon research findings. Work is performed independently under the general supervision and administrative direction of the Commercial Business Director and requires independent initiative and sound judgment. Keep abreast of new and established concessionaires and other aviation-related businesses to identify and create opportunities for growth at the airport. Regularly interact with corporate leaders and persons of influence to accomplish business objectives. Conduct aviation industry research, recommend courses of action and updates for airport tenant/concessionaire lease agreements. REGISTERED ENGINEER
Application Deadline: September 17, 2018. Position available with the Aviation Department, Planning and Engineering Division, 601 Brasilia Ave., KCI Airport. Assists with the airport's development and construction projects. Assists with efforts and execution of airport capital program and budget. Evaluates and executes the airport's capital program by planning and prioritizing capital projects, project programming, development and management of project budgets and implementation schedules, and stakeholder coordination. Ensures that all development complies with applicable FAA design standards, operating and administrative requirements. Facilitates and reviews the construction of improvements made by airport tenants. Supports the preparation of federal, state, and local grant applications when necessary. The Director of Information Technology is responsible for ensuring that MDOT MAA has in place at all times, the technology resources, infrastructure, technical platforms and multiple long-term IT Master and Strategic Plans required to support all business, operational, life safety, security and public safety programs at both BWI Marshall & Martin State Airports. This position is responsible for the high-level direction, budgeting and strategic planning of numerous and major administration-wide programs.
