AAAE's position open advertising provides a valuable service to AAAE members, and all revenue the association receives from classified advertising goes directly to the AAAE Foundation. The Foundation has awarded more than 2,700 scholarships totaling $4.25 million since 1989.

12/11/21 ASSISTANT AIRPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER Performs various duties at Tweed-New Haven Airport as dictated by operational requirements including but not limited: Perform shift duty relief for Airport Operations Supervisors, including all essential duties and responsibilities while assigned to a shift. Perform aircraft rescue and fire fighting on assigned shifts. Responsible for providing support and oversight for airport training programs, supporting the airport training supervisor. Provide daily managerial assistance in landside facilities and functions, including parking and shuttle bus operations, security, customer service, and community relations. Coordinate construction and maintenance activities on or near the facility to ensure airport safety standards and maintain operational status. Maintain airport security standards of FAR Part 1542 and the Airport Security Plan. Responsible for individual assigned duties and special projects. This position supports both landside and airside managers. Coordinate with Maintenance Manager on work orders, snow removal, and all safety related matters that pertain to airport maintenance.
