VICE PRESIDENT OF PLANNING, ENGINEERING, & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking an experienced person with a strong background in planning, engineering and environmental management to provide leadership to the Planning, Engineering and Environmental Management Department at a FAR Part 139 Airport. The Vice-President of Planning, Engineering & Environmental Management position reports to the RTAA Executive Vice-President/Chief Operating Officer and is a key member of the senior leadership team at the RTAA. This position is responsible for providing administrative direction, oversight and coordination for the development, modification and improvement of plans and facilities for the Airport, which includes program planning, budgeting, design, contract procurement and quality assurance. The nature of the work requires excellent business communication skills; the ability to establish, maintain and foster effective working relationships; and the ability to analyze problems, project consequences, identify alternatives, and implement timely and effective solutions in support of RTAA’s strategic goals, objectives and initiatives.

DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING - BUR
The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority is seeking a Director of Engineering who will be responsible for planning, engineering, and construction activities for the airport, including the managerial supervision of staff and technical oversight of consultants. Under direction from the Deputy Executive Director, this position is responsible for developing and recommending projects and incorporating them into the long range capital improvement planning for the airport.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an ABET accredited college or university; 7 years full-time experience performing duties which include difficult and complex engineering projects; and 3 years of management experience with direct supervisorial responsibilities of staff.Posting Deadline: January 12, 2018.

AIRPORT CERTIFICATION SPECIALIST (AIRPORT OPERATIONS)
Airport Certification Specialists are responsible for: -inspecting airport facilities; -ensuring compliance with federal, state and local rules and regulations; -implementing policies; -maintaining records/reports; -planning, executing and monitoring work; -issuing NOTAMs; -participating in emergency responses; -acting as a first responder; -implementing/monitoring/enforcing programs; -conducting training; -responding to noise complaints; performing minor maintenance or other duties. Job Description: The San Luis Obispo Regional Airport is conducting an open recruitment for a new position of Deputy Director for Administration. The individual in this role will be a key member of the Airport's senior leadership team and play an instrumental role in the overall strategic direction of the airport. The individual selected for this role will report directly to the Airport Director and have responsibility for all aspects of the Administration of the Airport. They will have overall responsibility managing the Airports finance, administration and business development functions. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for the development of the Airports marketing strategy to promote air service and other airport activities.
