Mineta san Jose International is recruiting for a Senior Accountant in the Finance and Administrations Division. The incumbent of this position, under the general supervision of the Supervising Accountant, is responsible for the preparation of financial reports for various Airport funds, including the monthly profit and loss statements and the proper accounting of the Airport’s capital assets. On a regular basis, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing executive reports providing management updates on the status of the Airport’s financial condition. Additionally, the Senior Accountant has a key role in the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and must ensure compliance with City-wide fiscal policies and procedures and governmental accounting and financial reporting standards for financial transactions. This is professional and technical work assisting in and coordinating activities in airside and landside operations. Work is performed under the direction of the Airport Operations Supervisor. Work is reviewed via reports, meetings of results achieved. DUTIES: Inspects runways, taxiways, aprons, safety areas, terminal, perimeter, fence line and surrounding airport grounds for compliance with FAA and TSA Regulations. Assures that the airport is operating in a safe and secure manner within the position's responsibilities. Affirms that repairs meet pre-set specifications. Monitors ground/tower frequencies and overall traffic. Assists in planning, directing and coordinating all non-routine airfield activity (i.e., opening and closing runways and taxiways; static displays; dignitary arrivals and departures; construction projects; escorts). Assists with coordination of simulated disaster drill and tabletop exercises, round table discussion follow-up and evaluation. Conducts Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) training and issues NOTAMS. Conducts airfield inspections. Coordinates emergency response to minor incidents.

The Columbia Metropolitan Airport is accepting applications for a full-time Project Manager to become part of the Richland-Lexington Airport District team. The Project Manager will manage engineering and construction activities and performance relating to project design and construction. Oversee the design and construction progress of assigned projects. Monitor and/or inspects projects under construction. Alert senior staff when a project is in danger of exceeding its programmed budget during design or there is a potential change order for a project under construction. Review design submittals for compliance and accuracy to ensure project progression and adherence to processes. Conduct reviews of engineering design plans and project manual specifications. Collaborate with Airport Management to prepare accurate and complete Request-for-Bids, Request-for-Proposal and Request-for-Quotation packages as needed for the Airport staff. Attend and participates in pre-bid meetings, bid openings, pre-construction and project meetings. Perform other related duties as required.

This position serves as manager of two sections of the Planning Division of the Aviation Department at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, they are: Airport Planning, and Airport Environmental Analysis. The Airport Planning and Environmental Analysis Manager plays a key role assisting the Airport Planning Director with strategic and general management with specific emphasis on policy planning, capital and facilities planning, and environmental review. Assist the Security Operations Manager in managing the personnel and programs to comply with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and other federal, state, and city regulations required to operate Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Supervise and direct the work of the Security Operations Supervisors, Security Operations Officers, Access Control Officers, Construction Access Control Officers, as well as the contract services for Traffic Control. Serve as the in-charge person in the absence of the Security Operations Manager. Ensure compliance with TSR Part 1542 and acts as the Alternate Airport Security Coordinator. It occupies a significant role in the organization ensuring the security of persons at the Airport. Under emergency conditions, reacts quickly, calmly, and exercises independent judgement and initiative to protect persons, property, and ensures compliance. Requires effective skills to lead and motivate a diverse staff, exercises considerable independent judgement and initiative, and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders and the public.

Under the general direction of the Airport Operations Supervisor, the Airport Operations Specialist is responsible for assisting with the daily operation of the Kenai Municipal Airport (ENA) and monitoring airport safety and building systems, assuring continuous safety and security compliance with (Federal Aviation Regulations) FAR Part 139, Part 77, (Transportation Security Regulations) TSR Part 1542, the Airport Certification Manual, the Airport Security Program, the City of Kenai Rules and Regulations, and other applicable federal, state, and local statutes, regulations and requirements. The Airport Operations Specialist is integral to the operation of the airport, working independently without direct supervision, is capable of making independent decisions, as well as prioritizing several tasks concurrently. The Specialist provides operational support to the public, airport tenants, City of Kenai personnel and promotes the safe operation of airport equipment and property.
