DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
The Director of Finance and Administration is responsible for duties that are administrative/managerial and highly complex in nature. The ideal candidate should have the ability to develop, plan and implement department goals and objectives and recommend and administer policies and procedures related to the operations and activities of the Finance Department. Have advanced principles and practices of governmental accounting, cost accounting, treasury management, revenue administration, budgetary accounting, auditing, AP/AR and payroll management required. Knowledge of sales/use tax, fuel excise tax, and leasing/contract law is highly desirable. As well as, best management practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of programs, policies and operational needs. The District is also seeking a candidate that possesses an advanced skill set to train, lead, mentor, motivate and evaluate their direct personnel. And posses a strong teamwork mentality and the ability to function as part of the executive leadership team.

OPERATIONS SPECIALIST I
The Louisville Airport Authority is seeking motivated individuals for an Operations Specialist I position. This is an entry level position that manages the use of facilities at both of the Authority’s airports. Position assures continuous safety and security compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Parts 77 and 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542, in addition to all other applicable statutes, regulations, and requirements. Duties include but are not limited to airfield/facilities inspections for unsafe or non-compliant conditions; monitor two-way radio communication, flight operations statuses, work order requests, security access control, CCTV systems etc. Additional duties are issuing airport ID media and providing fingerprinting services; implementing the Authority’s Snow/Ice Control Plan (SICP) and Wildlife Hazard Management Plan; supporting emergency responders during airport incidents; coordinating and monitoring airport construction activities; providing high levels of customer service in responding to questions and inquiries from the public, airport stakeholders, and/or governmental regulatory agencies.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS AGENT
The Airport Operations Agent will provide assistance in the coordination of aeronautical activities and operations at the Sugar Land Regional Airport. Perform a variety of work in the overall operations, administration, maintenance, emergency response, construction projects, and customer service. Provide overnight Fixed Based Operator (FBO) support and services to aircraft that utilize the Airport. Such services may include: utilizing refuel vehicles that pump Jet-A Aircraft Fuel and AvGas, take on a load of fuel, marshalling aircraft, lavatory services, potable water services, and any other services that may be required to customers that are provided during regular operating hours. This position shall report to the Airport Operations Manager. The Job will require working night shifts, weekends, or other hours as required by the Director or Operations Manager, and providing services and support for both the Operations and Line Service Departments.
