ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
This Assistant Director is responsible for all daily aspects of a non-hub, non-towered, commercial service airport. Supervises operations, maintenance, and FBO staff in support of 24-hour operations, ensures compliance with FAR Part 139, State of Minnesota, TSA 1540/1542 regulations, the Airport Certification Manual, wildlife control, and airport rules and regulations. Responsibilities also include emergency planning, ARFF, construction administration, airside and landside snow removal, heavy equipment operation, and airport finance administration (bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable). Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with airport stakeholder groups including government officials, tenants, customers, and the general public is required. Position is considered essential and subject to call 24-hours. Successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with major coursework in Airport Management, or related field. Salary commensurate with experience. AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
Supervises a team of Airport Operations Specialists ensuring that the City of Boise Airport maintains Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification and compliance. Monitors and enforces Transportation Security Administration (TSA) 49 CFR Part 1542, Airport Security regulations and Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139. Work requires considerable independence and is performed under general direction.
