AIRFIELD WILDLIFE SPECIALIST
POSITION:Airfield Wildlife Specialist DEPARTMENT:Airfield Operations SALARY:$18.45 to $21.06 per hour Level 18 POSITION SUMMARY: Primary responsibility for prevention, control, mitigation and removal of wildlife hazards in and around the Air Operations Area (AOA) and airport property. Assist Airfield Operations Specialists with the safe and efficient operation and security of the AOA and related areas. Research, track, investigate, capture, handle and/or transport a wide variety of birds and animals. Assist in interpreting, planning, and implementing of the Wildlife Management Program, as well as FAR 139.337 and Advisory Circular 150/5200-33. Recognize wildlife hazard attractants and separation criteria per Advisory Circular. Capture, handle, cage and transport animals including but not limited to alligators, snakes, feral cats, bobcats, birds of prey, bees, raccoons, etc. Operate the Mosquito Control pesticide application unit when required. Perform other duties as assigned.

AIRFIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER
An employee in this position provides oversight and ensures compliance with 14 CFR Part 139, maintains all Part 139 documents and administers all related training; manages the USDA wildlife contract; serves as administrator for the airport's Digital NOTAM Manager System; acts as a snow team leader and manages chemical inventory for de-icing; and performs other duties as required of the position. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Airport Management or related area of study. Two (2) years' experience in airport operations or related field. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of 14 CFR Part 139, knowledge of airport security practices, excellent communications skills, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Valid NC Driver's License Preferred Requirements: Four (4) years' experience in Airport Operations or related field including 1 year of supervisory experience. SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
The Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority (GARAA) is seeking an individual for the position of Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator’s role is to ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. This person will also analyze and resolve complex hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.
