AAAE's position open advertising provides a valuable service to AAAE members, and all revenue the association receives from classified advertising goes directly to the AAAE Foundation. The Foundation has awarded more than 2,700 scholarships totaling $4.25 million since 1989.

Airport Manager positions maintain airport safety and efficiency; respond to aircraft emergencies; provide first aid and coordinate airport closures; report to National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration (NTSB & FAA); disseminate Notices to Airmen (NOTAM); supervise subordinate employees; use computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and SAP; supervise the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program; conduct airport inspections; recommend capital improvement projects; coordinate and monitor construction and maintenance projects; prepare contract specifications; direct emergency field operations; supervise ground operations for special events, such as air shows; respond to noise complaints; and perform other duties as assigned.
