RFQ - Runway Safety Area Improvements The Birmingham Airport Authority is requesting Statements of Qualifications and Project Proposals (SOQs) from professional engineering firms (Respondents) to perform civil engineering services for Runway Safety Area improvements at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. SOQs will be received until April 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM local time. Copies of the RFQ, including detailed submission instructions and requirements, can be obtained by visiting the airport’s website at https://www.flybirmingham.com/about-bhm/doing-business-at-bhm/ or via an email request sent to jrostas@flybirmingham.com. A non-mandatory pre-submittal conference will be held on March 29, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. local time via online meeting.

Request for Interest BHM Corp Hangar 22 The Birmingham Airport Authority (Authority) is requesting expressions of interest for the long-term lease of Hangar 22, a corporate/general aviation hangar located at 4724 68th Street N., Birmingham, AL at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (Airport). The hangar is an 14,100 square foot metal office/hangar building situated on a 38,375 square feet site. The facility was originally built in 1996.
