The City of Williston is in the process of developing a new airport that is expected to open in October 2019. The new airport, the Williston Basin International Airport (XWA), is located northwest of the current airport and is currently under construction. The City is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development and operation of an FBO at the new airport. Up to two (2) FBO operators will be selected to enter into a land lease and development agreement to develop and operate an FBO at the new airport. The City is interested in making the selection soon so that the successful operator(s) will be able to coordinate the design and construction with the airport construction team.
